PKPK Plan Acquisition of Mine

Jakarta-PT.Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK) this year plans to acquire at least one coal mining company in East Kalimantan.

Director of Administration and Finance PKPK Untung Hariono said the company plans to conduct a rights issue to realize the acquisition. "It's still under review. Qualification company is with a capacity of 30 million metric tons (mt)," he said during a public exposure at the Hotel Intercontinental, Jakarta, Thursday (19/01/2012).

PKPK engaged sectors of contractors  in mining and oil and gas  which has three business units namely coal mining (coal mining), construction (construction engineering), and rental of heavy equipment (heavy equipment).

In addition to acquiring at least one mining company, PKPK also targeting revenue growth rose 70.55 percent to Rp522, 59 billion compared to previous year which amounted to Rp306, 41 billion.

"The target is derived from the construction division amounting to Rp379, 04 billion, coal division of Rp86, 4 billion and heavy equipment rental division to clear land mines amounting Rp57, 15 billion," he said.

The plan, the company will optimize production Dondang area through cooperation with the appointed contractor miners. The production target is Dondang area of 360 thousand MT with revenue targets Rp86, 4 billion and gross margin target of Rp25, 2 billion.
