ABM expects coal production by 12 million tons in 2011
Jakarta-PT.ABM Investama target volume of coal production contract until the end of 2011 reached 12 million metric tons. Production is obtained from the Cipta Kridatama subsidiary which at the end of June and has reached 4.6 million metric tons.
"The numbers are already up 15% over the same period in 2010 which amounted to 4 million metric tons," said Director of Cipta Kridatama Boedi Santoso in Jakarta.
So far, a subsidiary of ABM has been awarded a contract as a mining contractor. While ABM is also acting as a contractor six coal mining company. Some of them namely Arutmin and Harum Energy.
Meanwhile, the Corporate Support Services Director ABM Investama Syahnan Poerba mention, if the contribution Cipta Kridatama to the company reaching 40% of total revenue. "Notices Kridatama's greatest contribution to our earnings. As for the contribution of net income reached 38% Cipta Kridatama," he explained.
Cipta Kridatama addition, ABM still have four other subsidiaries. PT Reswara which is a coal miner, PT Sewatama engaged in power solutions provider,PT Sanggar Sarana Baja which is a service company and the last enguineering PT CKB is engaged in the integrated logistics sector.
Cipta Kridatama addition, ABM revenue was driven by a slick performance of PT Sewatama that contribute to 30% of total company revenue. "But in the future we develop Reswara which currently has two coal mines in South Kalimantan and Aceh," said Syahnan.
ABM coal production in the two mines are still relatively small. To mine in South Kalimantan in semester 1 and new producing 1.2 million tonnes. Where measurable mined reserves reached 53 million metric tons with the resources reach 167 million metric tons.
