Priorities of the National Mining Industry Business Support

He also provides guidance to the Director-General relating to list of products supporting business activities that must be supplied from within the country. According to him, the use of domestic products will cause a positive impact on business activities in Indonesia in the future.

The use of products from the domestic business activities in accordance with the mandate of Article 106 of Law on Mineral and Coal No. 4 of 2009 on the utilization of local labor, goods, and services in the country. And article 24 of the Contract of Work and Work Agreement Article 26 of the Coal Mining Concession (PKP2B).

Utilization and purchase of domestic goods in mining operations have continued to rise. In 2009, purchases of domestic goods reached U.S. $ 1 billion and rose to U.S. $ 1.2 billion last year.

"And this year's planned purchase of domestic products reached U.S. $ 1, 8 billion," he said. Until now, there are 12 mineral works contracts, 50 Exploitation Work Agreement Coal Mining and Mining Business Permit 3778 which is already in production phase.
