PT.Central Omega targeting sales Rp1, 3 trillion
Jakarta-PT.Central Omega Resources tbk,trading companies and the mining of nickel ore, targeting sales this year surged by 161.24% to Rp1, 3 trillion from the realization of Rp485 billion in sales last year.
Director of Central Omega Kiki Hamidjadja said an increase in sales will be supported by two nickel mines owned company which began operating late last year.
Meanwhile, he continued coal production this year is estimated to 3.6 million tons per year from 1.33 million tonnes per year in the last year.
"This year, two of our mines, namely in Morowali and North Konawe will contribute fully to the sale, so we project sales could increase significantly," he said after the public exposure in Jakarta today.
Kiki explains the mining company in Morowali and North Konawe each managed by a subsidiary company, namely PT Mulia Pacific Resources and PT Bumi Konawe Abadi.
In the third quarter of this year, he went on a mine which is managed by a subsidiary company, PT.Itamatra Nusantara in Morowali, Central Sulawesi is planned to start production.
He said the mine was projected to produce 50,000 tons, 100,000 tons per year. However, sales of new mines contributed to the company's revenue in 2013.
"With berproduksinya three mine begin later this year, we expect our sales in 2013 could reach 6 million tons, equivalent Rp2, 11 trillion," he said.
Along with increased sales, Kiki company said net income this year is also projected to rise by 156.75% to Rp475 billion from the realization of Rp185 billion profit last year. In 2013, the company expects its net profit to reach Rp792 billion.
To achieve these targets, Kiki reveals the company will allocate capital expenditure (capital expenditure / capex) amounted to Rp250 billion, which was taken from the proceeds of the issuance of new shares (rights issue) at the end of last year.
As is known, the Central Omega held a rights issue valued at Rp983, 73 billion by issuing as many as 983.73 million new shares. The Company set the exercise price of Rp 1,000 per share.
50% of the proceeds from the company's rights offering will be used to establish a new subsidiary engaged in the processing and refining of nickel in Morowali. Later, the company will have a nickel ore processing plant (smelter).
For investments the following companies with the development of the smelter, it costs U.S. $ 500 million. Company, plans to invite strategic partners to smooth the child's development effort.
Commissioner of Central Omega Johnny N. Wiraatmaja said currently there were three foreign investors who are interested to cooperate with the company. Two investors from China, while an investor from Taiwan.
According to him, eventually the company will become a minority owner in the subsidiary, provided that nickel will be treated purely derived from the mining company. Expected to deal with strategic partners can be completed in June this year.
"Currently we have a beauty contest three investors from China and Taiwan, we hope to deal in June, so it can be done at the smelter construction this year and finished a half years," he explained.
