Jakarta-Director General of Mineral and Coal Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, said Thamrin Sihite customs rules out (BK) mineral ore will be published prior to May 6, 2012.

"With out this duty, it is expected that the production of mineral ore can be controlled," he said here on Tuesday.

However, he was reluctant to say that the magnitude of BK that will be applied to the product of the mine.

Previously, the government will apply the information circulating BK mineral ore by 15 percent and then rose to 25 percent in 2012 and increased another 50 percent in 2013.

On May 6, 2012 is the deadline for mining companies submit a work plan development processing and purification before 2014 in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 7 of 2012.

Article 21 Candy EMR 7/2012 on Enhancing the Value Added Mineral Processing and Refining Activities Through Minerals says mining companies are prohibited from exporting mineral ores later than May 6, 2012.

Thamrin said that a new company can export after May 6 with a record of all licenses are not problematic, signed integrity pact not to export after 2014, and has processing and refining plans to build its own way, forming a consortium, or sell to other manufacturers.

EMR is based on the candy after Law Number 4 Year 2009 on Mineral and Coal rises, many mining companies racing to increase production and exports.

The Act mandates the mineral processing and coal mines in the country no later than 2014, or prohibiting the export after 2014.

Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Widjajono Partowidagdo even once said, after the publication Mining Law, there is an increased ore production to 900 percent.

Thamrin also said, with BK, the companies that get a big advantage to make greater contributions to the state anyway.

"The duty out can also be used to build the processing plant," he said.

He also said it would discuss the rules of BK with related parties, such as Parliament and Kadin Indonesia.
