Jakarta-Ministry of Finance finally establish formal rules related to the imposition of tax on mineral goods to be exported. A total of 65 kinds of mineral commodity items subject to this rule.

"Today has been decided to tariffs out there are 65 mineral commodities from the previous 14," said Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

Agus said, the 65 kinds of minerals are minerals composed of 21 kinds of metallic minerals, nonmetallic minerals 10, and 34 mineral rocks. "Precisely, because all there is a common form of ore and raw materials, and the same shape as the ground. We do not want any one to read and the implementation of the ore," he added.

In accordance with earlier plans, the rate set by the government amounted to an average of 20 per cent of total exports. "Effective today, as soon enacted," said Agus.

Meanwhile, the task of implementing the Fiscal Policy Office Ministry of Finance, Bambang PS Brodjonegoro explains, the reason for the expansion of the types of minerals that get out of this duty in order to reduce irregularities in the export of these commodities.

"Finally, there is nothing forbidden. That's right, the raw ore we can not distinguish. Rather, we semuakan it," he added.
