Indonesia - On the Regulation of the Minister (Permen) ESDM No.7 of 2012 about an increase in Value Added Through Mineral Processing and Refining Mineral Activity in the Domestic, for the next year, the Government insists on mineral mining companies should not export mineral ores.

Member of Parliament Commission VII, Satya W Yudha asserted, if the fulfillment of any obligation Mining Permit (IUP) to build a smelter in the country in 2014 did not materialize, then the government should propose the initiative amendment Act No. 4 of 2009 on Mineral and Coal.

"Should still no revised Mining Law. If problems  smelter that it was mentioned that IUP has a duty to cultivate in the country. That's obligations, "he said at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Thursday (14/11).

Satya said, the government should submit the initiative to the Parliament the right to amend if it is deemed necessary. Because the current Commission VII Working Committee (Panja Minerba), is discussing the determination of mining regions. "It needs to be done so that no one is breaking," he said.
