Bea will Applicable Rules Out Mine Export
Bandung-The government will apply the rules relating to customs exit for export of raw mineral mines in the next year. Minister of Industry, MS Hidayat said the rule is part of the program realization of mineral and mining industry penghiliran Act (Act) No. 4 / 2009 on Minerals and Coal.
Hidayat explained, after the program hilirisasi agro industry successfully applied, then the next government will implement similar programs in the mineral mining sector. Although, Hidayat said, it would trigger protests from the mineral industry.
"However, the program shall continue to be done immediately. In addition to the implementation of the Mining Law, mining minerals hilirisasi also must to keep us hooked from the present practice of VoC buzzed lately, "said Hidayat in Bandung.
Hidayat said, hilirisasi program will be conducted for all major mineral commodities, ranging from bauxite, copper, nickel, iron ore to iron sand. As an early stage, later on, said Hidayat, the Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry) will propose the application of customs exit which will then be discussed with relevant ministries.
"That remains to be studied. Later the Ministry of Industry proposes that duty out, only then discussed with the government, "said Hidayat.
Hidayat said the scholarship rule out the slowest start takes effect next year.
"Next year the government will spend on duty rule out it. If it's out next year, they (industrial mineral mining) must already know what to do in 2014, "said Hidayat.
So Hidayat hopes, there will be no export of raw materials in 2014. As for the target, Hidayat said, according to the Mining Law which requires industrial mineral mines in the country to perform processing so that it can have added value. Obligations in the domestic processing should come into force for five years after the Mining Law issued in 2009.
In addition, Hidayat said the government would also provide incentives for industrial mineral mining downstream. One of the incentives, he said, is a tax allowance which is still regulated in the PP No. 62/2008. Currently, PP No. 62/2008 is still middle revised.
"We are proposing the expansion of industry that could receive incentives based on the PP 62/2008. However, we have yet to see if it needs to get tax holiday because it is bound to provoke a new scene, "he concluded
