He explained the request of the President regarding the renegotiation should be followed up, because today more than 40 contracts and approximately 8,000 industrial mineral mining permit (IUP) or mining (KP) should be reexamined.

According to Finance Minister, Ministry of Finance was never involved in the process of licensing agreements work coal mining concessions (PKP2B) as well as other mining works contract signing.

Finance minister explained the government will respect contracts and renegotiation efforts conducted by reviewing all aspects of multi-sector involvement, including the financial sector.

He expects the involvement of the Ministry of Finance the renegotiation process will run smoothly by keeping the trust of state revenues as well as protecting the environment.
