Investors Interested Mining in West Kalimantan
Pontianak-Interest in investing in the mining sector in the province of West Kalimantan higher.
According to the Head of Mining and Energy Safe Kalbar Agus Sudibyo, investment in the mining sector in the province are now increasingly in demand.
"Judging from the graphs that tend to increase every year, either in number want any realization of production," he said in Pontianak, Monday (12/11).
According to Agus Aman, mining activities which are now showing an increase in the production of bauxite, gold, iron ore, manganese, zircon, and tin.
"For the coal mines of West Kalimantan was produced even though there is no existing operating permit," he said.
Former Chief of the Forest Service said West Kalimantan, the constraints faced by the mining industry in West Kalimantan namely infrastructure.
"The main cause is transport, where there are limited road infrastructure which if enforced would probably not occur higher operating costs than the investment," said Agus Aman.
Currently, the mining company should have been operating in the region and Sintang Kapuas Hulu. If there are other investors who have capital and will invest in mining can certainly help investors who already have it.
"But, if none, so the other solution is the result of the mine must be transported through Malaysia's first road about 90 kilometers will be directly exported. It's just that it should be resolved cross-ministry," said Agus Aman.
Earlier, Vice Governor of West Kalimantan Christiandy Sanjaya said, the increased investment in West Kalimantan, governors and regents / mayors are committed to making Kalbar not inferior to other provinces, and placing it as one of the preferred investment destination by both domestic and foreign investors.
"Various efforts have shown encouraging results and visible from the investment performance of West Kalimantan in 2011 as terfasilitasinya formation of integrated one-stop service (OSS) regency / city and province," he said.
