Indika Energy to acquire coal mines

Jakarta-PT.Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) incentive to increase the mining concession area. More recently, the Company acquired 60% stake in coal mines in East Kalimantan, PT.Mitra Energi Agung.

INDY management says, companies spend U.S. $ 27 million to take over the shares of Energy Partners. Company purchased the shares of Pacific Emperor Holdings Kimited. Both have signed a deed of sale of shares on March 21, 2012.

For information, Mitra Energy is a coal mining company located in East Kutai regency, East Kalimantan. The company has a concession of 5,000 hectares.

"We are conducting a thorough exploration of the gradual and concessions," said Dedy Happy Hardi, Corporate Secretary INDY, in a statement released by the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday (27/3).
